Armenian World Orchestra brings together 50 best Armenian musicians from all over the world
Armenian top musicians from all over the world will come together for a joint concert on April 21 in Paris, France.
The concert will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary commemoration of the Armenian Genocide. This concert will unite 50 best Armenian musicians from all over the world in the French capital. The orchestra created special for this event was named Armenian World Orchestra. It involves Gulbenkian Choir, singer Hasmik Papian (soprano) and Nora Gubish (mezzo-soprano), singers Liparit Avetisyan (tenor), Tigran Martirosyan and many others. The orchestra will be conducted by Alain Altinoglu, who, despite his name, is a Frenchman of Armenian origin.
The concert will take place in the prestigious Chatelet theater hall and will be broadcast live on the satellite channels of Armenia TV in Europe and Russia. In Armenia the recording of the concert will be aired on April 24.
